Comfort Afya Medical Cover

Medical cover from KES 200/month with up to KES 200,000 cover per year — on its own or together with your funeral cover.

About this service

Comfort Afya is our medical cover, offered alongside the Comfort Circle funeral cover. Choose funeral cover only, medical cover only, or both together — one account, one bill. Five plans cover everyone from a single member to the whole extended family, including parents and in-laws up to age 80.

Eligibility

Plans for ages 1–69 carry a 3-month waiting period; Comfort Royal (ages 70–80) carries a 6-month waiting period. Each family plan includes up to 6 children (KES 100 per extra child beyond the sixth).

Frequently Asked Questions

How quickly are claims processed?
We settle most claims within 72 hours of receiving all required documentation. Our claims team works quickly because we know families cannot afford to wait.
What documentation is needed to file a claim?
You will need a certified death certificate, national ID documents for the deceased and the beneficiary, and your Comfort Circle policy reference. Our claims team will walk you through every step and let you know if anything else is required.
Can I include my spouse and children in my policy?
Yes. The Silver plan (Ksh 300/month) covers a couple plus up to 6 children. The Gold plan (Ksh 400/month) adds 2 biological parents to that. The Platinum plan (Ksh 500/month) extends cover to both sets of parents. Contact us if you need help choosing.
What payment methods do you accept?
M-Pesa is the most convenient option for most of our members. We also accept bank transfers and card payments. You can set up recurring payments to avoid missing a month.
